Attendees of the Advanced Workshop must have completed a Foundational Workshop (4 days or more) in violence risk assessment and management, including the use of Structured Professional Judgement (SPJ) guidelines (e.g. HCR-20, SARA, SAM, RSVP).

Continuing Education (CE/CPD) credit for this and other workshops offered by Protect International Risk and Safety Services Inc. are available through our partnership with Consolidated Continuing Education and Professional Training
(CONCEPT).

This Workshop will provide professionals with high-level skills related to risk assessment and management and an opportunity to demonstrate their mastery when implementing these skills into practice.

Topics covered will include: 1) advanced principles of risk assessment and management, including case formulation and scenario planning; and 2) advanced skills related to report writing, risk communication, expert testimony, violence triaging, information sharing, use of multiple tools, and parallel investigations.

Participants will be provided with individualized evaluation related to these skills and successful completion will be recognized with a certificate of competency.

Cancellation or changes to registrations must be received in writing. 90% of the registration fees received will be refunded 30 days or more before the event. 75% refund will be received within 30 days before the event.
